Children working on arts and crafts activities at O Lar da Criança
Our school

What defines us

A school where every kind of knowledge matters. Where curiosity has room, rules make sense, and every child is known by name — and by story.

  • Rigour and care are not opposites. Here they always go hand in hand.
  • Every child is treated as an individual. Because they are.
  • Parents are not spectators. They are part of the family.

How we teach

No two children are the same. Each child has their own pace and preferences — and that is perfectly fine. Our job is to know each one and guide them with rigour and without rushing.

Integrated education

Values, autonomy and respect are taught every day, not just in books.

Experienced team

Stability is not a detail — it is the foundation. A child who knows their teachers well learns better.

Inside and outside the classroom

Visits, projects and activities that make learning concrete. Because some things are better understood when you see, touch and experience them.
